Mike Docker

Married with a grown-up family, Mike and his wife moved into the area from Poynton in April 2007. He joined the Parish Council in June 2008 and has since retired from work, allowing him more time to keep abreast of all aspects of the local council decision-making process, with an emphasis on police, health, road safety and local transport issues in particular. Mike's other interests revolve around railways and making as much use as possible of his and his wife's motorhome.

Matthew Theobold

Matthew Theobald was born in Surrey, but has been doing all he can to get further North with every move since university! He met his wife (a Yorkshire lass) at his first job after graduation, relocating to the rural part of the parish from the East Midlands in the mid-1990s. Matthew's career has spanned numerous medical device development projects, managing healthcare regulatory compliance for several sites and responsibility for IT quality across 12 European sites for the largest global healthcare company.

Matthew is now Managing Director of a medical device consultancy that helps save, and improve, patients' lives; working with both private and public sectors to design, develop and launch medical devices and drug/device combination products. He has co-authored three books and presented at many international conferences.

Matthew became a parish councillor at the December 2013 meeting. He is also a Governor at Stapeley Broad Lane CE Primary School, where his daughter is a pupil. Much of the family's free time is spent on its narrow boat, berthed on the beautiful Llangollen Canal near Nantwich.

Andrea Jacobs

Andrea recently retired from being the Safety Health Environment and Crime Director at Northern Rail having held similar positions at Alstom and Bombardier and she believes she now has the time actively to contribute to the parish. She has lived in the parish with her partner for 9 years and in Nantwich for 18 years.
Whilst a Yorkshire lass at heart, she has lived across the UK and in the USA and France.
She is also a qualified chartered accountant having trained with KPMG.
She is a keen walker and would be keen to develop the walking leaflets already produced by the Stapeley Parish Action Group (SPAG). Also, with a degree in Environmental Science she is looking forward to getting involved in the conservation project in the parish.
