Andrea Jacobs

Cllr Andrea Jacobs

Chair of Stapeley & District Parish Council 2024-25

Andrea has lived in the parish for over 10 years. She is recently retired and enjoys the time to give back to the community, in particular her work on the conservation projects.

Jo Hillman

Cllr Jo Hillman

Vice-Chair of Stapeley & District Parish Council 2024-25

Jo has lived in the parish for over 13 years and has two children of school age.  She has been on the Parish Council for 13 years and enjoys supporting the local community in her role as a Councillor and through various community organisations.

Mike Docker

Cllr Jane Dickinson

Born in Watford and lived in Cheshire since 1976, moving to Stapeley in 2004.

Now retired, she has been a primary teacher and headteacher. She has four grown up children and five grandchildren.

She enjoys long distance cycle rides and narrow boating.

Cllr Mike Docker

Born in Liverpool and married with a grown-up family, Mike and his wife moved into the area from Poynton in April 2007.

He joined the Parish Council in June 2008 and has since retired from work, allowing him more time to be involved with local council decision-making, with an emphasis on police, health, road safety and local transport issues, as well as being Secretary to The Broad Lane Coffee Club since it’s inception in 2014, and a Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator for his immediate area.

Mike’s other interests revolve around railways and enjoying using their motorhome.

Stephen Ford

Cllr Stephen Ford

Stephen worked in private industry for a number of large food and drink producing companies and has now retired. He has lived in the Parish since 2001 and enjoys playing golf and squash locally.

He enjoys supporting the community via the Parish Council on project work.

Jeremy Gibbs

Cllr Jeremy Gibbs

Jeremy has lived in the parish for 14 years and has two grown-up children. He has been on the Parish Council for two years and enjoys supporting the local community in his role as a Councillor.

He works as a Civil Engineer in local Government, and has extensive experience of Council regulations.

Cllr Ian Lurcock

Born in Yorkshire but lived in the Greater Manchester area since 2005, Ian and his wife moved into the Parish in 2017. He has worked in the NHS all his working life and is now semi retired.

He is looking forward to supporting the local community in his role as Councillor and is also President Elect of the Rotary Club of Crewe and Nantwich Weaver.

In his spare time Ian likes running, walking and weekends away in the motorhome.

Yetunde Orungbemi

Cllr Yetunde Orungbemi

Yetunde has lived in the parish with her husband and four children for 7 years. She moved from Manchester where she was a parent governor in Light Oaks Primary School.

She has been involved in public health programmes in Nigeria leading to improved dental health awareness in communities for which she won Rivers State Honours award.

She is a dentist and owns a dental practice with her husband in Nantwich town. As a business owner, she manages a team, handles procurement, negotiations etc.

She is passionate about the outdoor activities for children and hence has a keen interest in managing open spaces.
